**Jane Dipika Garrett**, who represented Nepal at the **Miss Universe 2023** competition, made history when she competed in the pageant held in El Salvador in November 2023, where she also became the first plus-size contestant to advance to the semi-finals (Top 20). A body-positivity advocate, she has used her platform to speak about her struggles with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and mental health, with the goal of representing all women regardless of their body type.

Dammmmmmmmnnnnnnn girl! Save some confidence for the rest of us🥰 she rocked that shit!!

Edit- downvoting me won’t take away your insecurities.😋

    3. The contestants are almost always mixed race and don’t represent how the average woman from that country look lol

    4. It’s interesting how what humans perceive as attractive evolves over time there has been many times throughout history that this body type was the most desirable. If a woman looked like this during say the Middle Ages she would be considered extremely beautiful by society.

    5. Those “plus size” models they show in media for “beauty standard changing” are still super pretty people with perfect hourglass or pear shape… Show upside down teardrop shape, though! Or an apple shape. Because this is what most “+size” people are.

    6. That’s the mistery of them southern mamacitaz. Somehow they manage to look great even when they have a butt with the size of a semi truck.
